Re: My 65 Monza backfires
Thanks Men, I'm not mechanically inclined but I have a mechanic. I wanted some ideas before I spoke to him. Also I have 4 Monza hubs that need a home. If you or anyone here would like them for free(pay shipping) you can have them.

Re: Loose fuel pump cover
Thanks Dave, it's (she's ) 1965 Monza with powerglide and 110 hp. It started backfiring after running for 45 minutes. It would hesitate(slow down) and then backfire and be fine. It might do it 2 or 3 times then I would pull over and cool down. Lately it would backfire sooner and more often.

Loose fuel pump cover
My Vair has been hesitating and backfiring lately. I noticed stains on my driveway and thought it was leaking oil. When I started my 65 Monza I noticed gas leaking out the top of fuel pump. I tightened down on cover and took it for a test drive. The leaking stopped and it ran better. Usually after a...

4Dr roof rail weatherstrip install
Just installed my roof rail from Clarks, and there 4" short. Anyone have this problem. I double checked part # and it's correct. Women who answered phone said they have notes on install that weatherstrip can be stretched 8" but nothing in directions said to do that.

Headliner install
I'm about to install the headliner in my 65 Monza 4 dr. I'm looking for advise. How should I apply the 3M adhesive? How long approx. do I wait for adhesive to set up? Do I go side to side or one side at a time? I could have it done professionally for $300.
