Re: My new whip

-Thanks "toytron". I was looking at a different 64 in Newton, Iowa when I came across this one. The one in Newton, Iowa is rough but was put back together a while back by John Miller so I thought it was worth a look. I felt that one was more than I wanted to take on. Plus this one ended up...

My new whip

My Dad helped me drag this 1964 Monza home today. Ok, actually I drove it home but he went with me. I though that was fitting that I drug him with me since he used to drag me out of bed to go bring a car home when I was younger. Now if I only had half his knowledge of cars. It's a 1964 Monza with 4 ...

Re: Smokin' Deals!

I decided to make the call and talk to the guy. He said he purchased it out of New Jersey from the builders son. It was suppose to run and drive but didn't. The brakes were locked up and gas was rotten. He got it to run, drive, and stop. He says the brakes need a little bit of work still. He had the...

Where are you getting it painted at? Looking forward to seeing it at local shows like the Gathering on the Grounds.

Window Regulator help

I am in need of some help with a window issue I have had since I purchased my Corvair. As you roll the window down, the front edge goes faster than the rear causing it to bind. No issues rolling the window up. If you apply pressure to the rear side of the glass the window goes down fine. This is a p...

Re: !969 Convertible on eBay

When I checked out this car and saw the last 4 of the VIN# I thought it must be fate since I have the same last 4! Then I saw the price, $13,600 at the time, and notice the reserve hadn't been met yet. So I decided it was just a coincidence. I would be cool to share that with your classic car though.

Re: FWD V8 Powertrain Install

A few years back someone had a rampside for sale that had a similar conversion done. I looked to me as if it was a GM 2.8 or 3.1 v6 with cradle installed in the back of the rampside. I wish I had a link for you but sadly I don't.

My response to "Don't they roll over easy?" is "Stand back because I don't want you to get crushed when it spontaneously rolls over". Then I walk away.
