I had painstakingly rebuilt the carbs on my 63, did all the adjustments and installed them. It was night and day on performance, but after a couple of weeks I too had a problem with the dribbles. I looked down the throat when the car was running and could see fuel seeping in when the car was idling...

placed my hand over the driver side carb and fuel would syphon out of the out of the venturi. I took it for a drive and drove it hard, pulled it back in the shop and the idle cicuit started working again. The best i can figure is that i had something blocking the idle air bleed. Drove it home yester...

Ok fellas, i just rebuilt my carbs on my 1960. Followed my repair manual , adjusted and started to sync the carbs. Idles fine, no dead spot on rev up, but when I place the sync tool on top of the driver side carb the idle goes up. no changes when I place tool on top of the passenger carb. I sprayed ...

hey guys, on my 60 there is supposed to be a heavy spring keeping tension on the clutch pedal.it broke and went somewhere, I cannt find it.i have called clarks, they see it on the breakdown, but do not carry it.has anyone replaced one of these before, if so where did you find the replacement?any hel...

sure, I knew it was unique as in the first run of a model.i believe its a mid year because it is a 2 door and the first production run was in a 4 door from what I have read.i have collected a few early mags with road tests and custom first year corvairs.i even have a few sales ads framed.everything ...
