Re: All about Glass (and Trim)
removal is the easiest part, use a utility knife and cut the rubber lip from the inside. Remove the complete unit then remove the trim then the glass. Your not going to use the cracked rubber again.

Re: Paint and rust repair questions
There is definitely rust under those bubbles, how much will be determined when or if you sand them off. Once you start be prepared , it might cost you some money not planed for. Re: The Spousal Avoidance Unit build
Can't really tell with that picture what you have designed , I think your trying to hard to come up with a solution. Look at the Vett rear set up, straight bars from trailing arms to the center. I can't wait till you get this thing rolling down the road.

Re: Mismatched VIN
Well now that you know, just tell the buyer what you found, if he's still interested sell it with a written notice that the tile and hidden frame # don't match. Or as you said drive it till the wheels fall off and then part it out.

Re: Need help with insuring my Corvair.
Hagerty required me to send them 3 pictures of my cars. One of the interior, and one showing the front and side of the car and one showing the back and other side. My cars are not modified so I can't offer anything on that.

Re: Edz 1965 Corsa Project (Nevada)
That front fender looks like my back quarter panel, I had no clue that there was any damage till I started removing the paint. Whoever did the work 40+ years ago did fine body work, Paint sucked but the bondo job was excelent.
