Thanks to all who replied, I think I shall look for the smaller Holley first. I was a Lincoln Mercury mechanic for 20 years and the idea of adapting a CFI unit sounds intriguing.

I just got my first Corvair. It's a 65 Monza that someone had hopped up a bit with a cam and and a Holley 8105B which is a 4 barrell the size of Rhode Island. I think it's a 600 CFM. The car runs so rich it brings tears to your eyes. It has a square intake with four runners. I'm open to suggestions ...
