Re: 1965 2 Door Corvair

Thanks for the heads up... The gentleman came by today and I let all 4 pieces go to him... He has a project that he wanted to get back on the road so I gave him a good Deal. Would rather see the pieces get used to put another car on the road.

Re: Rear End Jacking Procedure

:goodpost: Clark's Corvair Parts online catalog has a similar comment about the hazards of lifting your Corvair by positioning a jack under the powertrain. Their warning comment is at the bottom of the following catalog page... :link: http://www.corvair.com/user-cgi/catalog.cgi?function=goto&ca...

Re: 1962 Corvair Rampside Pickup

Hi All: Just thought I would drop a quick note to everyone. I have been to some cruise nights up here in Ontariariario. Have not seen any other Rampsides. The only other Corvair seen so far is a 1964 Monza convertible. The one Cruise night had 500 cars on display. The otheres were slightly smaller w...

Re: Are prices rising on our beloved cars?

In regards to the VW... Maybe someone has more money than brains. I could do a lot more with that kind of money than buy a VW...Although it's a beauty, I would be afraid to drive it for fear of scratching it or worse. :my02:

I'm looking forward to see what concept type car you are going to make this one into... I will be watching eagerly as unfortunately I don't have the skills to do what you have done. I will sit by on the sidelines and 'cheer' you on. :woo:

I just took the time to go through all 17 pages of the posting of your car on this website... :goodpost: I think this is the 'tip of the iceberg' and we are going to be seeing and hearing much more about your Corvair :tu: I'm sure many more people now know what a 'Corvair' is. Amazing job on the det...

Re: 1962 Corvair Rampside Pickup

When you look at the body....it looks like there is rust on it but they painted it to look that way...The Body is really solid. Thanks for everyone's input and for Brad finding the info on the movies that it was in. :ty:
