Re: New Member of the Family!
Hey, that's a nice ride, Greinert. Looks like it's optioned up pretty nice too. I love the rear antennas. May be a small detail, but I think it looks sooooo much better than the front mounted ones. Wish mine was. BTW, do you think that's an original red interior? I was wondering because......did th...

Re: New Member of the Family!
So you ended up with a 1965 Monza instead of the originally planned for 1969? What changed your mind? It looks like a very clean convertible. You should really enjoy driving it with the top down in beautiful northern Michigan and Canada. Were the pictures taken near your school in Michigan or near ...

Has anybody ever put an auxiliary heater in their Corvair? I am wondering because I live in a colder climate, but I still want to drive in the winter. Re: Powerglide Trans for highway use?
To add my 2 cents, last December I drove my 1966 Monza Sedan (110/Powerglide) on a 900 mile round trip from Flint, MI to Marrinette, WI to visit my brother and his family. As others have already mentioned, the Powerglide has no problems on trips. I drove 60-65MPH for most of the trip, getting 24MPG....

Brake Adjustment
Hi Folks I am about to buy 69 Monza. It is all in good working order, the only problem is that it pulls to the right when it breaks. I have been told that this is just a simple adjustment. I don't do a lot of break work but, the corvair only has drums all around and I think those would be simpler th...
