After reading all the advice it appears to me that his trouble lies within that yh. Although Ray rebuilt it, doesn't mean the float was not damaged in shipment! You said you have almost memorized Helt's yh book. Take the bowl cover off and make sure the float has not developed a hole and thus taking...

The way I read it... $199 was only for shipping! The cost of the kit was over $500. Looks like there would be much more cost with buying the rest of the parts to complete this conversion. Looks pretty cool though! :think:

I have finally finished the engine compartment and the PCV issue! I could not in good conscience put a little filter on the pcv tube...
I have also cleaned up the look in the engine compartment by removing the fresh air hose.
driving it here and there when the weather permits

Well..........The Corsa is finally completed! however there remains a few minor adjustments to make it great !

Next..... 4 wheel alignment, then on to Bob's Upholstery in OKC. He has been around for 30 some years and his workmanship is is top notch! Hi all. Since my last post in April, I have the carpet and gauge cluster back in and have it off the jack stands!
Moving a bit slow, due to some health issues and getting my 68 ironed out as well.

I should be taking it down off the jack stands in the morning and finally driving it, with the interior mostly in (no back seat).
