Re: LM Corvair 16gb Memory Sticks
I ordered a blue 64gb unit on April 4, that was the day that the website opened for business. I paid $45 via paypal on 4-4-17. I have been quite patient for well over 4 months, and I've spent lots of time trying to work out problems with the website and I have been in direct contact with Steve Heete...

coil spring GM 2 alpha codes
Greetings from TX Does anyone know which GM tagged coil springs I would need to use on a 63 convertible 4 speed ? My coil springs no longer have the coded tag that was attached when it left Willow Run. My choices at this time for GM factory springs are HA HB HC. I do not know if any of these coils w...

Re: How to identify a positrac?
Thanks, I will check for both wheels turning the same when I get the axles back in. Flat6 That'll be at the top of my list in a month or 2 when Boris is not 2' in the air on 4 jack stands. It's been about 20 years since Boris has been anywhere on his own power. I picked him up and trailered him back...

Early model rear springs
Hi
My 1963 Spyder rear coil springs have this piece on both rear springs. I've been thinking lately about what their function is. I have 2 or 3 possible answers bouncing around upstairs. Please, someone tell me the correct answer so I can see if any of my ideas were right.
Thanks

Re: EM rear wheel bearings 63-64 cast iron housing
I am thinking that the cage that is held tighter is the side that goes in first. I think I noticed this on the second unit as the bearing dropped out.

EM rear wheel bearings 63-64 cast iron housing
Hello and Happy 2013 to all, I have my 1963 wheel bearing housings off the axles and in process of regreasing them both. I took out the rubber seals and C clip retaining rings. Tapped out the race, out came the bearing set. I cleaned the old dirty grease out and I'm ready to lube and reassemble. My ...

Re: Brake Drum Removal
Thanks for your help everyone. Brad asked me to post a photo, and here it is. I took this photo on Nov. 21, 2012 as soon as we pushed it outside for the first time in over 11 years. I was getting ready to trailer it back to Texas for resurrection. The engine started after installing a new battery an...

Re: Rear wheel brake cylinder removal
I ordered from Raffee this afternoon. I'm only about 200 miles from Raffee so I should have parts very soon. I phoned NAPA but it was a waste of time, not much help today. I have lots of things to do on this car while I await delivery. Needs lots of attention nearly everywhere, but I need to keep fo...
