Re: Transmission Vacuum Modulator
I ended up getting a wrench today at the hardware store that fits. But I'm still unable to even get the modulator to budge.

Re: Cold Air Intake
I've thought about those as well. But would putting 2 cone filters 1 on each side in the opening into the engine bay from air vent and forming aluminum around them to enclose it to stay cooler cause the engine to run hotter?

Cold Air Intake
I've been contemplation on fabricating a cold air intake on a 110. Using 2 cone filters, piping and some aluminum sheeting. Placing the cone filters up to the holes coming into the engine compartment from the air vent on top in front of the hood. what are some ideas? would this restrict cooling the ...

If it just happens occasionally I wouldn't even worry about it .
If it happens again and again and bothers you - you should pinpoint which rocker is noisy and adjust the preload . It still may happen again .
Thank you. I just ...

Re: Adding an inline fuel filter
I went through this same issue with rust. I recently rebuilt my carbs, and put in a new pump, also putting in a inline filter coming through the fire wall. Put let me tell you the $80 i spent cleaning and resealing the gas tank was well worth the money. Just think all that work youve just completed ...

Engine pecking
Last weekend my 65 made its first long journey with me. She has sat in the garage all week. Today I went to start it, and became very concerned for hearing a loud pecking sound coming from the engine. After running for a few minutes and a quick 1 mile drive it no longer made this horrific sound. Any ...

Lack of power, Stuttering
I have a 65 Monza 110. When starting car has to idle for atleast 10 minutes before putting into gear or it dies. Also while driving when giving more throttle the car first stutters for a second then will take off. This is my first Vair, Seems not to have hardly any power as well. I have replaced ...
