That is one very nice looking corvair! I'm not as much an expert on what is correct as are most of the folks on this site but from what i can see that engine does look original to the car. Good Luck with it!!

Dave: Thanks for sending that posting for those two '62 700 sedans. they definitely could make a very nice car. The 62 700 did have a nice look to it especially with that belt line trim that stopped halfway down the front door. The color is nice too. I'm going to stick to what i'm looking for though...

The back seat in the coupe would be good for small children only. Way back when my family bought a new 62. I was 11 at the time and it was determined that the coupe that they wanted had too small of a back seat for me. They bought a sedan.
