Re: Newb on the hunt

Tapping into the local chapters is a good idea. I don't know how you could possibly offend someone with a new-found enthusiasm for Corvairs. Whenever someone converts, it's cause for rejoicing amongst the faithful. If you are considering priorities in your future Vair, I would rank first a rust and ...

Re: Finnish Corvair owner

Johan, welcome, congratulations and may I be the first to ask that you post pictures! I don't know much about '60 fuel pumps but what I was reading on Clark Corvair Parts website might be helpful. http://www.corvair.com/user-cgi/catalog.cgi?function=goto&catalog=MAIN&section=MAIN&page=65

Re: Wanted: photos of Corvairs in certain colors

Thanks for the compliment and for the post. As you can see from the credits, this is a group effort thing. It started when I was active on Virtual Vairs and went into hiatus when I stopped being active in the virtual Corvair world. I would like to get it going again. As far as expanding to interiors...

Re: my 65 Turbo

It looks like you have been busy! Did you get your trim pads and rear seat from the donor car? The interior looks much more comfortable and clean.

Re: Wanted: photos of Corvairs in certain colors

Thanks, Ray, I really appreciate the help. My convertible is Mist Blue. The interior was originally black and white, which I didn't like, so when I restored the car I went with the Light Metallic Blue Clark's offers.

Bobby, glad you liked the web site. It looks like you've got a great start on the car. Let me know if you want to swing by some time or if you need some help, you're not far from here at all.

Re: Hi

Bobby, I'm at the very west end of Jolly, just before the river. I see a light green Monza around, heading in and out of Potterville, from time to time. Is that you?

Wanted: photos of Corvairs in certain colors

Wanted: Pictures of Corvairs I would like to try to complete my “Color My Vair” website, which you can view here: http://www.wittelaw.com/personal/colors/ My goal is to have pictures of a Corvair in every color for every year. I don’t care what models the cars are, as long as the pictures are of dec...

Re: 1965 Corsa Paint & Trim codes

This isn't exactly what you're looking for but if you want to see what your car would look like in different colors, I started a web page for that. I don't have pictures for every color but I have almost all for '65.

Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project

Hey, I just read this thread and I assume that as the car is already in for paint you've already decided on a color, but my suggestion is Cypress Green. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/168887_3723115749767_358819250_n.jpg Nice, rare '65 color. Of course, Mist Blue is always nice, too. :) Re...

Re: Hi

Thanks for the compliments, musik. The wheels are Motor Wheel Spyders. I like them on my Vairs for a number of reasons. First, Motor Wheel was a Lansing company, so they're local. Second, a wheel called a "Spyder" just belongs on a 'Vair. Third, they're a period item so they are not out of...

Re: Hi

@ jennirw, Just need to get my registration in. It's been several years, time to go back. @ Jon I think the reason I got away from my Vairs is that they needed some attention and things like college tuition for my kids got in the way. However, I am getting my priorities straightened out now. :) As f...

Hi

Hey, I've been a Corvair guy for a long time but haven't been on this forum before. I got bored with my Corvairs but I think I am rekindling some interest. So, hi from Norm Witte in Lansing, Michigan. Here's a picture of my two '65 Corsas: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/s720x720/282811_372...
