always check your ground....if not good, the lights backfeed and will do all kind of crazy stuff...i had to ground all my tail lights independently.

thanks all...mine was plugged up with dirt.

and if so, where the hell is it? and what is the plug size for rhe trans oil fill....(4 speed trans).

well...it is done enough to drive and do a couple of cruise nights....and yours truly in the drivers seat...my never ending project...and i like it that way...

more progress... brakes are done, new lines, hoses, and a duel master from a 67 monza......total for lines, hoses, and master.....97.00.....and NOT a kit. wheels and tires on...decals and scoops for brake cooling installed.....on to the new carbs and fuel cell install....ready for the pan-american r...

got it...the damn thing is a flip lock with a 1/3 twist...it was out of alignment...all good now...

i just received my new poly fuel cell and cannot get the fill cap off...tried brute force, hammer and drift, heat gun, and wd40...any ideas or past experiences with this issue?....Y
