Without the waste gate it will make boost but it becomes very laggy.......well that was the way GM set it up originally. never tell uhaul your towing a corvair. tell them something else. found this out as i was there picking up a trailer, the lady was nice enough to let me switch vehicles i was going to to tow. always tow corvairs on full size trailers loaded backwards.

have been running a standard coil with my ignitor II for months. zero issues. my year old flame thrower crapped out when i was swapping it from one engine to anothergordo wrote:The folks at Ignitor ll say you must use say Flame Thrower coil with their system.

your wheels bearings are going to hate life. puts alot of stress on the studs. that being said. if its going to run at low speeds and very rarely id say it will be ok, just keep an eye on it. also paint them black so they blend in

fuel gauge could be on it way out and when you hit a bump it works then fails etc. turn the key to the on position and repeatedly tap the fuel gauge and see if it fluctuates

porsche swap plans. start with a slightly modded NA 3.2 200whp goal. 5spd lsd trans/dif. work out all the kinks with the suspension, engine etc. then buy a blown turbo engine and strip to bare block and build a monster engine. 350-400whp goal. hope to start this winter

ive dropped my engine once, slipped off the tranny jack while i was putting it in, the input shaft caught it just like yours did and i managed to catch it by getting underneath of it. had to yell over to my boss and his son to help lift it up and get the jack underneath of it. if i was alone i would...
