Is my turbo working?
I just had my 63 turbo engine rebuilt. Prior to this the turbo never worked. I put a rebuilt turbo on it but not sure if it's working. I think i can feel it kick in up around 4000 rpm but not sure. I thought there would be a real noticable boost when it kicked in. How can I tell if the turbo is work...

Mine did the same thing, the longer it was between startups, the noisier and longer the noise lasted. I put Seafoam in and the noise quieted immediately.

I have a 63 Spyder 4 speed convertible and I need to tow it about 400 miles to get the engine rebuilt. I am using a 2003 Ford Ranger with a towing package to tow it.
