Re: Wayne 100 Boat engine

Hot Rod Mag did nice write up on these boats in '69 I think. I hope you get in on the water. Relatively small and light and good handling boat. I believe they will do about 50mph. Will pull 3 skiers simultaneously at over 40. Left hand drive is cool too!
Nice save! Keep us posted on progress!

Re: Phoenix Metro Area Corvair Owners

Dave thanks for posting the informal corvair cruise in. Probably wont make it as my dash is apart (aka steering wheel in my lap) for tach fix. Not sure when it will be done.
Check out some pictures I took at the last sanctioned corvair meet in Phoenix in October. There were some sweet rides there.

Re: Fender-Door Alignment Issue

Thanks Dave...bah humbug, exactly what I didn't want to hear! Paint is final for now. I do plan to repaint next year. Thinking about gun metal grey (non metallic) or possible highland green from 68 mustang. At that point I would consider the fender cutting and forming option, but not excited at that...

Fender-Door Alignment Issue

Haven't posted in a looong time. How is everybody i n Corvair land? So what is the best way to get the door and fender to be a smooth even transition? You can see at the belt line I have a good 1/4" step moving from door to fender. Both sides are about the same. The pics make the passenger side...

Re: Found some wheels I like.....

They look real good on your early. Its seems funny but it seems different types of wheels only go well on a LM or an EM but not both. Maybe its me. Nice look!

Re: Is this too much?

To the point: for 8K in this market it better absolutely rust free and damn near perfect in every way! Rebuilt motor, very good paint, 8 out 10 interior. Good rubber all gauges working...you get the point. Good luck and post us some pics after you see it.
