nobody? i dont have a manual so a diagram or something explaining how i can shift the car into neutral from under the car would be great!

kind of need a quick answer...

the gear shifter on my 64 corvair 3 speed is slack, something happened to it after the last time it was towed when i moved. what is going to be the most simple way of getting it into neutral to show an interested buyer / restorer that it runs?

my hondas carbs make that same sucking noise when they aren't getting enough fuel... maybe check that fuel pumps flow rate?

now this is just judging from my experience from inline 4 motorcycle engines... I would run with that myself, it looks like a weird key hole and looks to regular to appear to be a chip. It looks like the crush washer / plug goes past that point. that is why i would run it. if it went closer to the ...

Even an early with an 80hp was in a carrier vehicle (700 sedan). I dont think you will have a problem with any corvair engine...

i did not think the episode was to bad, season 2/3 has been growing on me. they did ruin that corvair, and if tanner had it i am sure it would have done much better on all of those tests.

well the car is not done yet. decision time will be coming up next monday... either i buy another winter beater, or sell the corvair and buy a little less of a beater.....

ok thanks, im going to get started stripping more parts off fri and sat... hopefully the tank drops easy. where is the filler neck connected to the tank by chance? or do i just remove it near the fuel door and wiggle it out?

any how to's, tips or tricks? need to drop the tank to clean it out, does not leak but has 10 year old gas in it. also any specific way of running the new fuel lines or can i just follow under the body and take it to the mechanical fuel pump? second thing is im tackling the brakes. drums seem ...
