Your paper can wait as your English seems perfectly fine, haha... That's a nice job you did in a short time... Being 53 years old my issue is finding the time and then I'm not always so motivated :dontknow:...

Re: Our New "OLD" Ride.....

So we've brought our 60' Corvair aka "Cave Car" to it's new home just about a year ago! We been purchasing a few items since we brought her home to replace the few items that over the years had been subject to no attention! This past couple of months I've been cleaning and installing different ...

You definitely have a good platform to work with! The Cascade Green looks to be in great shape and the interior except for cardboard panels looks as though a good cleaning would bring it back to life!

Re: Our New "OLD" Ride.....

Thank's again to all for the kind words, encouragement and ideas in keeping it stock! I did purchase (5) new 185 - 80 - 13's radials! Just curiuos what would most do for the peppering of surface rust poking thru the original paint above the body (peak molding) line! Thought of having just the upper ...

Re: Need some body work/order of getting things done advice.

I guess it depends on how long it could be before you get around to painting it? It would probaly be a good idea to prep for paint asap and then primer sealer or even a clear coat over the primer! Primer can be porus and can start to re-rust in no time .....

Re: HELP NEEDED! SPRINGS, SPRINGS, SPRINGS

Thanks for the reply! Your attachment sure is in the weeds! I would really hope to do say 1/2" rear / 1 1/4" front! I have read ...

HELP NEEDED! SPRINGS, SPRINGS, SPRINGS

So we are in the process of getting our 60' vair back on the road! One thing we would like to do is level the front or just beyond level it! We have some white wall radials coming that are 185 / 80 - 13's so they match the original 650 - 13's in overall diameter! Although the springs are 50 plus ...

Thank's to all of the members for the kind words and compliments ::-):! To make a long story longer let's see what I remember! I was three years old when my Dad purchased the corvair in 62', it would have been two years old at the time! The car was originally sold new in Lansing, Mich (Bud Kouts) as ...
