Thanks Brad, looks like it's going to go cheap. Boo!
I have over 3 times the current bid invested. Oh well, win some, lose some.
I'm sure a new owner will be quite happy with what they get.

Re: Ed Bartlett's Beautiful 1965 Monza Coupe is On the Market
Thanks for sharing Brad, I don't get on the forums often enough. I'm usually too busy in the garage or driving my cars. I'm thinning the herd a bit. I've sold my low mile '62 coupe, my '64 Monza convertible, and now my baby the '65. I'm keeping my Rampy and my wagon, and my son's '65 sedan. I'm stil...

Re: Hidden secrets of a $15k offered Corvair
It's a shame that people take personal issues to a public forum. It appears the issue was settled long before this thread was started. The whole transaction appears to have happened quite a while ago. IMHO the thread shouldn't have been started in the first place. Time to move on, kill the thread be...

Re: Who's coming to the convention in kalamazoo?
I'll be there Tuesday, not sure if I'll be in the yellow '65 or the '66 Corsa Turbo vert.
Depends how a little front end work goes tomorrow.
About 500 miles each way.

Re: Vair Grl
Welcome Missy,
I met Ray last summer at the convention, we both drooled over each others cars.
Super nice guy!
My wife has a '64 Monza Convertible, it's always nice to see women getting into the hobby.
Enjoy your car, it looks great!

Re: Cad-kid's 65 Monza - my first Corvair
You both read my mind! Oil cooler seals are in my parts stash (ordered last month). After I get the low compression issue straightened out I will see if a de-flashing is needed. It's a 140, de-flashing is always needed. De-flashing is the single most effective way to make your engine run cooler. Yo...

Yes, I did, I got a pretty good laugh out of it.
You did a great job, you really made my car look great.
Thanks for spending the extra time.

Re: Engine Swap 95 for 140
Thanks Jeremy, I hadn't planned on painting the carbs, I prefer to do that when they're apart, and they are working really well now. I did give them a quick wire brush before I put them back on. The engine has been deflashed, I assume when it was rebuilt, or re-sealed. I had a good close look and co...

Re: Engine Swap 95 for 140
Been busy the last week or so. I pulled everything back apart to change the fan bearing. While everything was apart, I took the time to clean and paint everything. I went with a bit lighter silver this time, then the gunmetal on my old 95hp. I'm pretty happy with it, but I haven't decided if I will ...

Re: Your favorite Corvairs picture thread
Two of my Favorites where at John Gray's swap last spring. John's Yenko Stinger YS-063 and Dave Binnie's Blow through Turbo '65 Corsa Coupe. I didn't get many photo's of the Yenko this time, but the black Corsa Coupe is about the straightest Corvair I've ever seen. To me, It's just perfect. The blow...

When you pull the sending unit, it's a good chance to replace your "filter sock" on your sending unit.
Very cheap, and good piece of mind, and it will only take a second.
Congrats on the underside, can't have a nice house, without a good foundation.
Looks like you have a great car.

That reflection is perfect, Black is always tough, looks like a real quality job.
A Corvair friend of mine always says, "When a car is that straight, what color does it deserve to be?? Black!"
