63 4 speed input shaft walkthrough?
Does anyone have a walkthrough or have any good tips on switching out the 4 speed transmission input shaft? I seem to be stuck in 1 gear (2nd probibly) I have a spare shaft from a 64 so i figured i could just swap it.. I havent crawled under there to check it out yet so im looking for ideas. Any hel...

My E-brake does not work and feels like its not connected. Is there a usual probibly is... kinda answer? Is it cable too?

I was thinking about swapping the 110 engine out of my 64 monza parts car into my 63 700. The monza was sitting next to the ocean for 10 years so the engine is covered in surface rust and corrosion. What parts could i use off my 80 hp on my 110? The carbs i'm sure, generater? what about the fan and ...

63 runs good, but reverse is fried.
Today i took my 63 out for the first time since it got the carbs rebuilt. It runs pretty good but the 4 speed wont shift into reverse, like it can't find it. It keeps putting me into first. Its just a big mushy mess. The joys of a Corvair!

The door panels basicly just melted when i took them out. makes for a good pattern for the ones im making.

This poor 64 was 50 bucks, and 6 months ago when i first spotted it wasn't half as bad as it is now. It does have an alt conversion. synchronize carbs with a unifier.
I guy i work with gave me a unifier gauge to help me synchronize my carbs in my 63 700. i'm sure im the last person to hear of them, but does it work well and what do i adjust to get them synchronized?
