Re: High Speed Time Trials the Monday before 2013 Convention

Sorry Norm, rules as of now are Corvairs, Corvair powered cars, and Corvair bodied cars only. If we don't get enough Corvairs interested (max is 50 participants) then I may open it to other cars as well to make sure we keep the event going. But for now its Corvairs only.

Its official, I have signed the contract and scheduled the date for the 2013 High Speed Time Trials on July 15, 2013. GingerMan Raceway is the place, $150 per driver is the cost, and it is limited to the first 50 Corvairs. Online registration is now open, or you can mail in a registration form as we...

High Speed Time Trials the Monday before 2013 Convention at

Hi all, I just wanted to let the Corvair racers know that the West Michigan Corvair Club has set a track day for the Monday before the 2013 CORSA Convention. July 15 2013 is the date, and Gingerman Raceway is the place. Gingerman is about 30 minutes from Kalamazoo, MI, which is where the convention ...

Re: who is going to Sturbridge?

I am planning on driving my '65 Sedan to Sturbridge, might autocross it, with no high speed event planned I don't see the need to tow the V8 car or the new racecar out there. Kevin, start planning for 2013 though, my club is hosting the convention in Kalamazoo Mi. We are tenetivly planning a high sp...

Re: Safety shut-off Switch for electric fuel pumps

Yep find a junk late 90s ford taurus and open the trunk. On the right hand side is a note about how to reset the button in case of an accident and the right behind the cardboard/carpet you will find it. Very easy to remove and very easy to wire into your Corvair...

Re: Hi my name is Ryan

The firetruck is a 1986. This year it will qualify for antique license plates! Ford built that exact style cab without hardly any change starting in 1957 and the last year of them was 1990. It was in production for a very long time!

Go big or go home! We had a ball taking the rig and 3 Corvairs to the Convention in Iowa last summer. Will be taking it to the Corvair Olympics this summer too!

Re: Corvair of the Month January 2011

Huh? Here? Ok '65 Corsa Coupe, home built Kelmark conversion, 400hp SBC, front disk brakes more time and $ into it that I would care to admit. It is a little shy on the racetrack, new differentials are expensive! Sure does look cool though!
