Thank you all for your response, especially "Scott H". I contacted Seth and purchased an adapter. Thank you Seth for the very quick shipping!

Grant steering wheel adapter
As a six year project nears completion (meaning probably a year or two left), I can not find an item that I want. A Grant steering wheel adapter for a 1964 Corvair Spyder. Clark's doesn't think Grant is interested in making any more, Corvair Ranch doesn't have one, California Corvair doesn't list ...

High altitude carb kit
Those that are far more Corvair knowledgeable than myself please advise me. At some time I believe I heard that a high altitude kit was offered for the turbocharged engine. I think it consisted of a main jet and metering rod. In this case I am dealing with a 1964 model. I am at 4800/4900 ft ...

Re: 64 monza spider convert
Very nice! Looks just like the one I'm resurrecting except yours is in better shape! I might ask you to post some pictures of components I am missing so I know what I'm looking for. Does it run?

Re: What is this/were does this go?
Now I'm getting somewhere! Terribleted, your description sent me in the right direction and bbodie52, the diagram sealed it. I found two broken wire ends (both blk/grn) sticking out midway up the underbody wire harness. Found 12v on one, and jumped it to the other, and had a backup light. I'll find ...

What is this/were does this go?
Please help me determine if this is even a part off of a Corvair, and if so, what it is and where it goes. When I started working on this 1964 Monza Spyder convertible, many of the parts were literally in a basket. I've already sorted out parts for other vehicles, lawnmowers, etc. I may be missing ...

Huh, I'm not sure why the pictures came out sideways. Actually, I'm lucky I figured out how to post them!

Here are a couple of pictures. I've been working on it for three years, in between other projects. It's coming along.

Re: Long time lurker finally joins
I have the shop manual (60-63) and the 64 supplement. No assembly manual. I'll have to locate one.

Long time lurker finally joins
I've been harvesting info from this forum for several years, but it's time to sign up in order to ask some specific questions. I do appreciate the knowledge I've gained. Thank you all. I'm working with a 1964 Monza Spider, which sat in a field in Santa Rosa CA, from 1982 until 2007. At that time it ...
