Ive not experienced any of this with my 63 although i havent driven it hard.

Im a Fuel Truck Driver, not a Race Car Driver. That could have something to do with it. The Corvair feels small enough to put under the hood of my big truck. Lol

I had to vote for...BOTH. It depends on what a person wants. I had my share of each (plus 3 driver vans). For driving, performance, (maybe) looks, yeah, late model takes it. For classic looks, it's the early model with that wrap around windshield, especially for a convertible. I honestly think the early styling made me pull the trigger when it came to buying mine. There was also something about "1962", the first year for convertibles. Dennis

I think there is a disparity here that's not been discussed. Since there were more EMs made, they would theoretically have a numerical advantage in the voting. How to balance?
