I have an NOS head 3886247. Is is for 62-63 102 HP only, or also 1964 110 HP?

Corvair Junkyard Primer lists 3886247 as 62-63 102HP, 9.00 compression ratio.

64 110HP heads could be 3819876, 3856631, 3856632, or 3886257 and have 9.25 CR.

A lot of 102s have 3813516. 3886247 came later and is "service", that is a replacement head. There's some 64 heads close in that number series. Your having a NOS head fits in logically with that scenario. Of course a 102 would have different chamber volume compared to anything in 64. I looked in the Tech Guide and if I remember right your head is about 54 CCs and 64 110 is about 58. Of course my memory from this morning when I looked could be off.

Yup, What Jim said! No, it is not the same as the chamber sizes are different for the different displacement engines. Hmmm, is that what Jim just said???? LOL
