Area code 602 is Phoenix but of course that doesn't mean much in our modern mobile society.
Looks like a nice solid Rampside deserving a new lease on life. I like the way it looks and would haul stuff in it just like it is but I'm more of a Shop Van sort of a guy these days.

Also, plates (rear) are California, "but of course that (also) doesn't mean much" as to its location - maybe.

Although I did not closely examine the Corvairs he's selling, I did meet Eric and his wife while my wife and I were visiting family in Phoenix.

A Rampside was sitting in his driveway near the main road which caught my eye but I didn't have time to make a U-turn and stop in for a closer look.

The next day, my wife and I decided to see if we could find the Rampside to at least get a phone number to pass along the seller details to our fellow Corvair fanatics.

We pulled into his driveway in our California-plated rental BMW X3 (free upgrade from the rental car company) and immediately noticed the LM off to the left and another Rampside tucked into a spot on the right.

We introduced ourselves to Eric and told him that we were long-time Corvair lovers as he noticed the CORSA t-shirt I was wearing.

Little did we know that he was an authentic old-car buff, with a bunch of nice cars & trucks. Everything from Franklins to BMW Isettas to Corvairs.

After getting a pleasant tour of the old cars, model cars and other collectibles, Eric took us inside his beautiful home, and introduced us to his wife. We sat down and visited as if we had known each other for years!

I showed Eric both Corvair forums and encouraged him to list the Corvairs.

If I was in the market for another Corvair, I would buy one from him in a heartbeat!
