With the choke control spring under the head there are two designs.
One design locates the spring up close to the head and so uses a shorter lower control rod.
The other design via a different bracket to the head locates the spring further down and uses a slightly longer lower control rod.
Does anyone know when the change occured?
I think the upper control rod that goes to the carburetor is the same length. I have a bundle of them and some sure have been bent funny over the years.

Choke Spring Bracket
Re: Choke Spring Bracket
Jim -- A few years back South Coast Corsa posted an article on the different head choke brackets and rods -- there ARE A NUMBER OF DIFFERENCES over the years. At the time Clark's catalog was incorrect about what went with what. I'm not sure if Clark's ever fixed their problem.

Re: Choke Spring Bracket
Thanks, I've printed off the information for my info. I had separated them into 2 groups but it looks like I need to do more sometime.
