Hi,

I'm curious if any of the Corvair racers and participating in the Road America vintage races July 17 thru 19th, The Hawk, with Brian Redman? I'm taking my family on a vacation to Wisconsin and we always go to a racing event there. I always look for racing Corvairs and Corvair powered racers. The V8 Can-Am (Canadian American Series) racers are the featured class. Loud and fast times ahead! Also celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Chevy V8 Smaller bore Production cars are also running. Just checking.

Can you or anyone tell me how the Stinger reunion went at Road America? How many Stingers showed, what the races were like, photos of the event, etc.? It was too late to do anything about it when I got word, which is shame because I only live an hour away from the track. The local club I belong to has little interest in road racing, mostly interested in the roundy-round stuff. Dang. I did see a guy with a Yenko Stinger on a trailer filling up at the Hwy 76 Oshkosh Kwik-Trip on Monday afternoon though. Little consolation.

Sorry I have not been here since the race. There was a good turn out they had an all Corvair race on Sunday I believe there were 12 cars that raced and a a few that were display cars. I did not make it as my engine blew outside of Des Moines. Here are some pictures. I have some smaller and Larger tee shirts left from the event.
