Looks very sweet!

I recognize a few of the components like the TH425 tranny but what's the scoop on the rest of the build? Engine, engine-tranny extension tube, final gears, coilover shocks, etc. How does the rear radiator work out for long freeway drives?

the rear coil over shocks are Q1 721785

the engine is a 1969 327 built to 350hp corvette specs
the radiator is a double pass core from speedway motors with a 16 electric fan and shroud. with the hood scoops from clarks corvair it grabs plenty of air to keep it cool. i have a mr gasket 891-thermocap and it is 10 degrees cooler at the radiator then the gauge that reads off the head. the main heat problem is the heat from the exhaust.

The transmission it a th-425 from a 72 old toro. the final drive is ratio 3.07.
To make the adapter i used a marine bell housing at the engine side and a oldsmobile bell housing at the transmission end with a chunk of 1/4 inch thick 10 in round steel pipe in between the two. the torque converter is connected to the engine by a shaft that bolts to the engine and torque converter via flex plate using starter buttons for the alignment of the torque converter . i use a aftermarket gear reduction starter at the motor but if i wanted to i could still mount one at the transmission.

Thaks for taking the time to post all of the info. I'm always interested in variations using the Toro parts. I've never seen this before but it looks awesome.

Did you paint the car? This is close to the exact color I am looking for. Any info would be appreciated. Your car looks great by the way.

Cool. thanks for the paint info. Now for another question. What size wheels and tires are you using? It looks like a 5 inch back space from here............ what are you running. Same front and back? Any clearance issues or mods to correct such? Thanks again.

Close to what I was thinking. Thanks for the info. I'm looking at 17x8 in back, 17x7 in front with similar tire choices. I am thinking a 5 inch backspace all around but I am still measuring. Looks like I can squeeze them in so far. I appreciate you taking the time to share what you have done.
