Love it! When I rebuilt my motor a couple months ago, I paid way too much money to have the block dipped, and spent hours blasting and cleaning the other parts, now I know a better, and safer way(for the engine and the environment :rolling: ). Will definitely be doing this for the next motor, thanks for the share!

Quick Note* DO NOT LET THE PURPLE CLEAN DRY ON THE ALUMINUM PARTS! It dulls the finish! as long as its immersed in the stuff and taken out and rinsed off right away it works good! Also the second design gas tank cleaning machine with the LOW range ryobie drill works great! 3 battery packs will clean it spotless inside!

A fellow Vair guy said to try "Simple Green" 50/50 to clean block halves. I had a nasty block I didn't need and filled a platic tote with Simple Green and water, 50/50 to experiment. After a day the block was almost spotless. A little scrubbing and another few hours and it came out bright and shiny. I was amazed!

Don't expect Simple Green to get stains out of aluminum. Some of the end housings in particular tend to turn gray with age. They'll come out clean, just not pretty.

BTW - On the C4 Corvette Chevrolet ONLY AUTHORIZED Simple Green to be used as an engine cleaner due to the alloy parts on the engine. Other cleaners discolored the valve covers and intake assembly.
