GOT TO GO RACING!!!

Post by Phil Dally »

I cant stand it!!

Was at the track for the May event with no racecar...it sucked.

We're changing the cam in my back up 140 motor and will be ready for June 13.

What's the point of a racecar in the garage on jackstands.

Yes...but not with the 3 liter motor.

OT over till October/November for me too.

I can afford to install a turbo 140 with all the race stuff.

As long as we're faster than COBB (THAT WILL BE EASY!!!) who cares.

Who knows...with a tight motor we might kill the 150 MPH barrier.

Splitting the 140 case and installing turbo cam today.

Goal is long block in the car ready for peripherals by manana.

It can be done without complete disassembly.

Instant (sort of) turbo motor!!

We are hung up on the valve train.

Put it back together just as we took it apart.

Pushrods are binding on the rockers.

Cam change done and long block done.
