Center console?

Post by 91turbo2 »

Anybody using a center console on a late model? I was thinking of installing one offered on eBay but wasn't sure if there were more options. Here is the link:

A lack of cupholders in a Corvair can be a problem. The type that hangs on the door tends to fall off. I have one of these between the front seats on my convertable...

I just put a Clarks center console in my LM this evening . LOVE IT , it fits great and is nice and secure. Love the added storage space which is great to hide my GPS.

I purchased my center console from California Corvairs and ablolutely love it. I think it is the same brand or type as Clarks sells. Perfect ride height for your elbow. I love the cup holders and the glove box like area to put stuff. Best money I spent, besides the Corvair itself.

Here is a custom one I built a while back. Sorry about the poor image quality. Was scanned from a beat up print.

George, my body shop pro, custom-built this console that has two cup holders, a double DIN stereo, 4 speakers and the relocated PG shift lever.

I am scheduled to get the completed 69 vert this morning (fingers crossed):
