LM Rear Hubs Rebuild, Greasing or Shimming Exercise

No matter how you put it, working with disassembly and reassembly of the LM Rear Hubs is a time consuming process. Tools you don't have to make it easier will be nice. Common hand tools can get it done, but time increases significanly with them. Many opinions on doing the job will be given, these 2 procedures are only to give the novice Vair mechanic an idea of the complexity of the task and requirements. It is then upon them to decide on whether they will attempt it or send it out to others who have the better tooling and experience.
