Helping Scott and the board

Post by hrm2k »

It has been a while since I got on my platform about helping Scott offset the cost of the board. YEs, he had added advertising but that does not come close to covering his cost. We all get on the board and probably never give the cost of operation any thought at all. I know I don't think about often enough. I just shot Scott $50 to help with the rent heat and lights. I could have bought some more neat parts for with that money but it is time to understand the depth of knowledge and experience you are able to access through this board for not a dime. Even if it is $10 bucks, it helps offset the cost of this board

STEP UP TODAY...................DONATE TO THE BOARD.
THERE IS A DONATE BUTTON on the portal page

Thanks

Select “Portal” above. Scroll all the way to the bottom. There is a Donate button on the right side. Click it.

Thanks, read right past that whole box as an advertisement. I made a donation, this site is valuable in my opinion.

Thanks guys for helping out !!!!!

I'm pretty sure this board has been a monthly expense to maintain and with everything else going up in price, what was once a small expense has become a bigger expense due to inflation eating away everyone's money.

I noticed that there were 76 views of this thread and only a handful agree that this place is a treasure trove of information and accessible experience. How you could not support this is beyond me. Less than $1 a week

OK. Found it. Not at the bottom, but on the right side a few lines from the top. Donated 50.00. Well worth it.

I just used some of the donations to pay for another 3 years of our Anti-Spam service. :tu:
Last week I paid to have the site software updated (which happens several times a year) so you guys helped cover that too. :tu:
My goal for this site was never to make money but to provide an organized place for communicating with other Corvair owners and to preserve the valuable information posted here about these unique cars we all love. Thank you for helping to make that a reality.
