Scott, I love how you did the page on my Lakewood. The before/after shots next to each other are outstanding. Thanks again, and I will be ordering a case of calendars!

Bummer!

My girlfriend ordered me a calendar for Christmas but it's missing. The tracking # shows it was delivered to the house on Monday at 5:30 pm but it never arrived. There were four people at my house at 5:30 pm on Monday. We were having dinner and we can see the front sidewalk through the window so no one came to the door. We have one of those little community mailboxes so no way it could have been left inside of there. Now I have to wait for cafepress to process my online claim form and figure out where it went or send another. So far, all I've heard from Cafepress is their auto-reply message.

I got my calendar a few days ago. Thanks! Well done again! Dave, I had an issue with my community mail box deliveries a while back. Hate to be a complainer but sometimes you have to send a message. I contacted the postal service and they responded with a process to deal with constant misdelivery issues. I complied with their instructions (along with writing my address on my box inside) and have not had a misdelivery since. Fortunately for me, my neighbors were very outgoing and often delivered to me any errant mail they got addressed to me. Not sure if this is your issue but if it is, our carrier is trying hard to get it right. Best of luck to you. :chevy:

I'm sure a neighbor got the calander and decided to keep it. I have my name and address in my mailbox but this community has 7 individual cul-de-sacs that all look very similar and even have similar names. To make matters worse, each cul-de-sac has homes that are all numbered the same (but with different street names of course). I'm sure that drives delivery folks nuts.

Example:
2907 N. Melba Ct
2907 N. Eldon Ct
2907 N. Velma Ct
2907 N. Leland Ct.
2907 N. Ariel Ct.
2907 N. Whipple Ct
2907 N Freeman Ct.

Still no reply from CafePress about the missing package other than the auto-reply I got last Wednesday that they would call within 48 hours. They have to file the loss claim so I can't do anything according to FedEx or USPS.

I tried to call CafePress today but the message I heard was that they stopped taking customer service calls on Dec 20th! What kind of retailer turns off their phones on Dec 20th????? :whoa:

Similar situation here. They don't make it easy for the mail carriers, that's for sure. Cafe Press is on to a great idea but I can't help but wonder if they may have outgrown their business model. I hope you get a satisfactory resolution, somehow. Good luck! :chevy:

Re: Lost package located!

Post by azdave »

Nearly three weeks after the tracking number showed "Delivered" a neighbor who accidentally got my calendar brought it over to the house. They've had it since Dec 16th but waited until Jan 5th to give it to me? You would think around Christmas time they would have tried to get it to me a little sooner.

So I called Cafepress to offer to pay for the replacement calendar (that they told me last week was on the way) but the service rep said it hadn't even been printed yet. I said "thanks" but obviously please cancel the replacement order.

Later that night my girlfriend got an email requesting her mailing address and contact info so they can "rush" out a replacement calendar. Seems odd since they knew the old one had been found and we already verifed the correct mailing address with them several times while looking for the package the first time.

Calendar looks great though!
