Ultravan N.W. Florida

Post by Dennis66 »

NOT MINE! I normally don't post this stuff, but Ultravans are so rare. This one's only asking 1500.00 (project) Dennis

At $1500, I was expecting it to be gutted, but I didn't expect to see those HORRENDOUS tail-lights! (where is that vomiting emoji when you need it?)

I was down in Gulf Shores, AL last week and saw that pop up on Marketplace. Thought long and hard about picking it up, throwing the engine in and driving back to SC.

If enough people would like to see that on our channel, I'd be down for a road trip. Anyone in northern FL wanna make a roadkill-esque trip?

I think saving an Ultravan would be a PERFECT project for your channel!

If you are going to trailer it back make sure it is a flat trailer with out wheel arches. They are WIDE, when I picked up mine I had to take off the arches put down 2x6 so the tires could ride on those and drive on the lip of the trailer bed (fortunately mine drove), then reattach. Lots of weight on the back and did not tow well. Since then I upgraded to a gooseneck flatbed so there is plenty of room.
