Can you ID these sheet metal pieces?

Post by 3949 »

I think these are Corvair parts and don't want to throw them out if anyone could use them.

the 1 part is a engine cover........the rest of them dont look like any stock vair engine stuff. some kind of look like they are vair parts - but modified - hard to say by the pics.

maybe they are body sheet metal for early or fc? i dont do early stuff so i dont know.

Scott,
Thanks for the reply. Did you indicate the other parts may be from an early Ford? That's possible as I bought a bunch of parts from an estate and a 40 Ford was in the mix along with a 55 T-Bird.

i indicated that the parts arent from a 1965-9 vair..........but maybe from an early vair - 1960-64 or a fc which is a corvair forward control.........aka truck.

im not familiar w/early vair or fc stuff but a lot of the engine sheet metal is like the late stuff. the other pieces in your picture dont look like any vair engine parts. maybe early vair body sheet metal? maybe ford stuff. :-)
