Trying to find my dad's old 65 Corvair Corsa Vert

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum because I'm trying to track down my dad's old 1965 Convertible Corvair Corsa.

He did a beautiful backyard restoration on it 20 years (or so) ago, and sold it probably 15 years ago. It was red with black upholstery and a black top. It was mostly original with the only unique identifying marks being that he painted the rear panel black instead of silver, and it had non-original black and chrome hubcaps.

It was sold in Glendale CA to a guy that lived in the Los Angeles area not too far from Glendale.

I haven't been able to track down the license plate, so this is all I've got to go on.

I'm interested in buying it back, or at least letting the owner know to keep me in mind when he is ready to sell...

Here is a pic of the car. The color is a little off, and it's actually a darker red than it looks. If the owner is on this forum, or if anyone knows him, please pass the word!
