64 Spider Trip Odometer

Post by Mr.G »

In the process of redoing the dash gauges etc and the dash I picked up came with a flexible trip odometer reset. My car did not have one so my question is where do I secure the knob end and is there a matching knob that goes on it or is it just left as is.
Thanks.

There should be a bracket under the dash to the left of the steering column. There's a special, decorative nut and a knob that resembles a tire valve cap.

See viewtopic.php?f=55&t=12423&p=85062#p85062 for info for LM's. Might apply to EM's too.

There is a push-on knob for the odometer. I got one from the Corvair Ranch.
