Any one heard of this manual?

Post by btnewton1208 »

Anyone heard of this book, or used it at all? Just curious if it is worth the buy.

If you don't own a copy of this book, I would strongly suggest that you buy a copy and read it to help you with your Corvair upgrades and improvement investments. I have owned the earlier version of this book since 1970, and bought the updated version when it was published last year. It is filled with a great deal of informative material that has been developed and collected over decades of Corvair ownership and racing. At $21.05 it is a good Corvair "bible" that will help you to make educated, informed decisions for your Corvair before you actually spend time and money.

Excellent book.

Thanks everyone! I saw it on eBay, and just wasn't quite sure. I am getting ready to start working on my 62 Corvair engine(which will be fun since I have never rebuilt an engine), and was wanting a good guide on making the engine better than just a stock engine.

The shop manual is the key reference source. You will need the 1961 Corvair Shop Manual as the primary reference and the 1962-1963 Supplement. These and other valuable Corvair references can be downloaded at no cost in Adobe Reader (.pdf) format via the following link...
