A power windows question

I'm considering power windows for my LM coupe. However, I don't want to do it unless I can replace my window cranks with period power window switches. I'm not willing to live with little plastic covers to hide the shafts for the window cranks. Is there a setup on the market that makes this possible?

A related question is whether Camaro regulators fit Corvairs. I heard somewhere that they did. If that's true, then I suppose that this might be a very price but viable option.

One area of concern is that they list this part for '68 and '69 Camaro, but not '67. I would think '67 is the closest relative to the LM coupe. Hmmmmm.

I figured out why there is a separate kit for '67. 1967 was the only year that the Camaro had vent windows, like our Corvairs do. I also located a somewhat less expensive kit:

Do yourself a favor and loose the vent windows...mega cool factor.

BTW: $150 less likely means Made in China...I'm just saying.

It does look pretty cool, Phil, but it also takes away some of the uniqueness and classic look [emoji102] of the LMs

I have seen power window systems that actually use the old window crank as the switch, at custom car shows on television. I do not know who makes the kit but I know that customizers are using it. Pull up to raise window, push down to lower window.
