ReedBecky,
Im selling the brackets from California Corvairs to convert LM Corvairs to disc brakes. It comes with instructions to convert them. California Corvairs sells them for $129. I would take less. IM me if you are interested

How about EM disc brake conversions? What has been used out there? Is the best way to go with a kit from Clark's?

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the EM brackets from California Corvairs. I found a pair of 71-79 Dodge Colt Rotor/hubs. Now looking for Calipers. Does anyone know if aftermarket is acceptable for the conversion? The instructions make it a pint to have (used) in brackets for the hub and rotor but not for the Calipers. thanks for the read.

Thank you all on your suggestions. I will be looking at them and the parking brake issues on the rear disc.

Thanks again

I have a Lakewood that had been converted to use the 77 Dodge Colt disc brakes. Clark's has them as a kit.

HI, I have drum brakes all around on my 1966 Monza. They are spongy and the pedal bleeds off at stops. The auto shop said this is normal and can't be corrected. Is this right? I am thinking of disc's to fix this.

The brake shop doesn’t know what they are talking about. Do you think Chevy could have sold this as normal?
If the pedal goes to the floor at a stop, it is normally the master cylinder. Spongy is usually air in the system. Run, don’t walk, from that brake shop and find someone who knows what they are doing.

David Clemens, your For Sale post has expired. Can you re-post if you still provide the Disc Brake conversion? Pictures? Anything? I am interested in Front and Rear.
