1963 Spyder carb linkage

Post by Deadwolf »

I have not been able to find the stud that mounts to the carb arm and connects to the cross shaft linkage. I can find it in diagrams on clarks Corvair online store. (page 50 near the bottom) https://ssl.corvair.com/user-cgi/catalo ... ow_page=50 It is the ball stud that goes on the carb side of the linkage swivel. Does anyone have a part number or source for this part? Or is this something I should be able to find at a hardware store?

Trying to get the engine compartment all put together properly then I will move to the interior of the car.

Well I'm going to try this from Jegs.

I figure if it doesn't fit on the existing head I get the clamp also and if none of this works on my linkage I just need to get a peice of 10-32 all thread and cut it to length and replace the whole rod.

Have you called Clark's? They're pretty helpful with questions like that.
