Too hot for a power glide?

I have a 110 motor, .60 over, stock carbs, stock heads, with a OT-20 camshaft. Is this too hot for a late model-stock power glide transmission w/a 3:89?

Should be a good combo in a van. The OT 20 is a good midrange cam and is OK with the powerglide. The 3:89's with the bigger motor should work out well.

Thanks for the quick responses guys! Can something be done to the stock power glide to improve it ? I have read about "modern friction material" used on the plates and beefed up torque converters? I guess what I'm asking is what have You done to Your power glide and why? How hot is Your engine and hows Your power glide working out for you ?

Original FC (van & pickup) powerglide transmissions have a tranny cooler located inside the battery compartment. Make sure you have this. Other than that, powerglides in proper working condition are great in FCs.

Anybody got a picture of this cooler? I can only find a sketch of one in my old Clarks catalog (PG135). Where does it come out/return to on the tranny?
