Steering Gear Box...

Post by acarlson »

There is a 1/2" pipe thread bolt located on the front of the steering box. Here is the pict from the shop manual:

The exploded view of the gear box in the manual does not identify what it is used for and it isn't referenced anywhere in the documention.

Anyone know why it's there ??

Thanks -

Perfect !!

Is this another one of those "fill to the bottom of the hole" or is there a capacity ? I don't see it specified in the manual.
