Corsa Odometer Cable ?

Corsa Odometer Cable ?

Does the reset knob side of the odometer cable on the Corsa mount somewhere under the dash. It's pretty short and it was just hanging under there when I bought the car... I don't see any place to mount it.

under the dash theres a hole on the left about 1" from the steering shaft.

Wow - GM certainly didn't make it easy for the owner :eek:

Scott, Thanks for the info and Brad, thanks for the diagram. Now I just have to find the nut which fits the control so I can mount it and also the knob so I can turn it. Back to CorvairRanch I guess... :tu: I did test it when I rebuilt the speedometer so I know it does work ::-):
