Window Not Coming Down
Window Not Coming Down
Hi I have a window that seems like it is jammed or out of track on my driver side 2 door monza. What is the fix for this?
Re: Window Not Coming Down
EM or LM? Either way, take the door panel off first and take a look

My did something similar, so try this. Open the door and push the glass forwards (towards the front of the car) while trying to roll it down. If that works then you may just need to grease up the tracks. Mine did that and would go down if I pushed it forward so I used some Permatex anti-seize lubricant on the roller guides. Couldn't hurt to check, just a thought.

It's a late model body style.

The contents of the four attached documents may help. The manual, 1966 Fisher Body Service Manual, is somewhat generic in that it covers all Fisher Body products from that period (Corvairs included).
I had to divide this section into four parts in order to reduce the file size for uploading to the Corvair Forum. Having the proper reference materials — including the factory shop manual — is important. You can download all of these references at no cost onto your computer in Adobe Reader (.pdf) format from the link below.

I found out that the track wheel was rusted and can't freely spin anymore. Who has some of these I can buy?
