As for coolant temp sensor, it turns out that two Corvair head-temp thermistors in parallel perfectly replicate the resistance and warm-up curve needed for GM EFI of that era. On the Datsun 280ZX system, that was a Bosch-License deal and Bosch also licensed the system for use on the air-cooled EFI VW engines so all that's needed is to purchase a VW engine temperature sensor from one of the air-cooled EFI VWs of that era.

Alright i really appreciate all the advice guys! My family knows a few junkyard owners in the area so i jave plenty of places to look around at

I saw somewhere on the web where they are using Harley Davidson Throttle bodies.

CB Performance has an EFI kit for air cooled VW's and this is what they use. They drilled a hole in the rocker box on one of the cylinder heads and screw this in.
