Anyone modifies their seat frame to add legroom?

Anybody added a couple inches of legroom to their Corvair? How did you do it? I have. 64 Monsanto convertible.

These are on ebay for A body cars. According to their fitment chart they will not fit Corvairs but they look very similar to those sold by Clarks. They are also a little cheaper. it might be worth a call to The Parts Place to see if they will fit.
