Re: RecessBilly's Worklog '63 Spyder project
Rear windows installed!!
New blower and hoses to the heater box as well.
Wipers and wiper motor are on.
Been busy with wiring, and sealing the diff. I have a new seal on the passenger yoke, but it doesn't have a deflector, and it is puking GL-4 like mad from the input splines.
Otherwise I feel like I am making progress, and every step gets it closer to being on the road. 9 months so far owning a Corvair, and never have driven one. I installed the seat from the convertible for now, as I am starting to upholster the interior. Also put a temporary steering wheel in while I refurbish the original.

I like the Chevrolet sticker. I will have to get a couple of those.

Hey, could you do a set just like yours for a LM coupe? PM with price if you can. My mom in law lives in Merlin, I could roadie down a bit further to see your car in person and pick them up...

Re: RecessBilly's Worklog '63 Spyder project
Over a month since an update, as I've been busy and family stuff came up. I have been driving and enjoying this thing immensely. Rebuilt the carbs a plethora of times and finally understand them. Car has been running great but gets hot, I realised how important the rubber perimeter seals are and have been remedying that, as well as need to address the pushrod tube o-rings. But boy howdy! What a fun rig.
Looks like there once was a rack; there were tapped holes in the decklid from a privious owner. I didn't fill them when I painted so I could do this:
