Got Stripes???

New postby mrtrimmier » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:47 pm

Hi,
I wanted to see what the forum thought of this obviously crude attempt at at styling study?

I'm thinking blacked out bezels, ditch the front trim bar for the trunk and blacked out bumpers. All white car with the stripe going down the middle of the roof/decklid/rear as well....
Prolly make an airdam out of some 1/4 thick rubber around 3.5 inches tall with some aluminum or stainless boat trim and rivet or screw it to the lip under the front valence. Mabe a Yenko type spoiler on the back.. Prolly make the stripe wider too with 1/4" gap and 1/4" pinstripe as poorly illustrated above...
Thoughts???

WHOA! Fat rears! I like the stripes... I'm trying to come up with something I like... no real good ideas yet.

It doesn't look too bad but I wouldn't run the stripe down the front panel. Just my 2 cents worth

I'm still kicking around running it down the front. If not then I could keep the trim... Might have to fab up the air dam and see how it looks at that point. It will be better when I can get close enough to the car to mess around with some masking tape and stuff. Anyone want to photshop some stuff for me??? I have no clue how to.....
